Not Ranked : 0 De-barbing hooks I was wondering how many fly fishers de-barb their hooks when they fish. And if so how often. I personally do not unless I fish a wild trout stream with smaller fish. Or if I have to put on a conehead that wouldn't otherwise fit. Another question would be with de-barbed hooks how much greater are the chances of a fish getting off versus barbed hooks?
