Delaware River - May 3, 2008

I made the mistake of floating from Deposite to Balls Eddy. I'm starting to think someone out there is out to get me because when I arrived on the river, someone kicked the wind switch.

I started my float around noon. Knowing that I had a lot of rowing to do and a bunch of wind to battle, I figured I'd row until I saw rising fish.

The river broke up and I could go right or left. I figured I'd try one of the channels rather than staying on the main stretch. I was happy I did. In the channel, I landed two nice browns. The catching didn't last long, I had to get back into the boat and start rowing again. I had a lot of rowing to do.

I head into the water that runs throught the West Branch Angler. A few people were fishing and I approached 1 guy with a really nice fish on. Seeing his long leader/tippet, I asked him if he wanted help netting the fish. He declined my help.

Anyhow, I'll continue with this later, I have to get outta here.
