Need some advice fellas. Wifey wants a weekend getaway in July. Daddy must provide. Kids staying with the in-laws. Requirement is that we need to be within 3 hours of home base, either in PA or NY. Was thinking about a Caesars all-inclusive like Cove Haven on Lake Wallenpaupack. A bit pricey, but it would only be a two night stay, plus I get a travel agent discount (its a part-time thing for me). Figure to take in some horseback riding, tennis, and biking. Obviously won't be looking to fish but if she asks "where's your fishing gear", I better make sure its packed in the spare tire compartment of the car. Not even sure if there is any trout-fishable water in that region in July.
