Just saw something on NJN that got me thinking. It was a nice presentation on global warming and ice caps melting resulting in higher sea levels over the next 100 years. They mentioned the Delaware system the need to provide higher water releases to push back salt water as the sea level increases.
I realize this is long term but made me realize the water releases will be an ever changing situation and there is no one solution. As our climate changes with more rainfall, more drought and higher sea levels the politics and water management will change along with it. One thing is for certain, water management is a type of evolution that will keep going on forever.
