Wondering if anyone has any tricks or suggestions on taking care of their gear that they would like to share. I for one like to rinse my used flys for the day under tap water. I then put them on a plate and place them in the oven so the low humidity heat of the pilot light flame drys them out before returning them to the fly box. On wet and damp days, I also place my fly boxes in the oven to give them a good drying out and insure no moisture remains. I also go over my rod and guides with Armorall before putting them away.
