Looking To Buy Camping Gear

Hello
I have a ford pick up and i'm looking it to buying a truck tent,it fits in the bed,so you are off the ground.I would like to know if anybody has used one of these pick up tents,and what do they think of them.It looks realy cool to pull up to a body of water,crash for the night and hit it in the AM......let me know,I like camping and not paying for a motel room,plus I just got devorced,I cant afford a motel...........get back..thanks
