Pontoon Boat Question

A question for all you pontoon boat owners: I store the pontoons for my boat in my garage during the fishing season, but up till now I have lugged them downstairs to my basement during the winter, under the theory that they should not be subjected to the freezing temperatures in the garage that they will encounter during the course of the winter.....do you folks do the same, or am I being overly cautious??? (I'm thinking about the life of the pontoons)
