Newsgroups in "do=getnew"

Is it possible to exclude the newsgroups from the "NewPosts" search?

This morning the "getnew" function was virtually usless for finding posts by forum members....Just a multiple page list of stuff from the newsgroups.

It looks like the "Latest Forum Topics" section of the main index page is being monopolized by the newsgroups as well.
