So how does it work...

Let's disect that...

First portion, "map=". I typed Ken Lockwood Gorge. You can type anything into that spot. You will notice that there is a little bubble on the map that I placed up. If you click on that bubble, you will see any text entered after the "=" sign. The next portion before the next "/map" should include an address... YOU MUST INCLUDE A FULL ADDRESS. If you don't know a physical address, do a google search of the area and use any address that looks close enough. I made one up for the KLG. It's a valid address and works for the purpose of demonstrating exactly where the KLG is.

Latitude and Longitude is coming soon.

The above address will result in the following map to be displayed.



Using your mouse to move the map around:

• Simply place your mouse on the map, hold your left mouse button, and drag away.

DO NOT USE THIS TO ADVERTISE. Using this utility to advertise will result in being banned. I have no problem if someone wants to give directions to a fly shop and use this feature to pinpoint that shop. The same person continually giving the same directions to the same fly shop will most definetely be banned.

It's possible the fly shop has already been pinpointed. Please do a quick search for the address of the shop. If it doesn't come up, you're probably free to go. Blatant advertising for the sake of promoting your pals business will result in a warning and possibly being placed on the blocked list. If in doubt, ask.

I'm using IE7 and the map shows up with no problem. There are documented problems with some browsers. The only advise I can give you... Have the latest version of your browser installed, clear your browser cache and cookies, and log in again. If it still doesn't work, change your brower. If that's not an option, than you will not be able to make full use out of this feature, sorry.
