  Not Ranked : 0 ducks/geese, sticks/logs-do they scare trout? I've thought about this many times when i'm fishing and i notice that a flock of ducks stays in the pool just ahead of me: Do the fish spook when ducks/geese swim overhead? Also will sticks/logs spook fish? It probably depends on the fish (ie, wild vs. stocked, size, etc..). I think ducks will scare most wild fish because they're used to being preyed upon by mergansers, at least when they're still smaller fish. I've caught fish fishing behind ducks...I've also NOT caught fish fishing behind ducks, so i've got nothing conclusive. Any opinions or experiences?
