Hey All what a day here on my waters had Mike M. and Joe from RFS as guest today and what a great day we had!! Will post video and pics in the morning !!A monster wild brown was brought to hand along with many other browns and bows was a great day on the water!! Stay tuned for the release video and pics...



Finally the Video is ready took long enough!! But what a day any way fished a gem secret spot with Mike and Joe. Was fantastic day we arrived at the parking spot suited up and headed out. The place we fished is about an hours hike from the truck with about a half hours worth being tangled in knot weed and briars!! But as you can see it was well worth it!! We fished a bunch of better than class 3 rapidis and managed to take a few juvinal browns and raise several brutes that were toying with us following our nymphs straight to the surface then heading right back to the hole.
Mike caught this big guy as we were moving into a large a large hole. He cast out and started his drift and nothing on the first swing put his size 20 midge rig back out and on the second swing WAMO!! the line came tight and the battle ensued for about 10 minutes!! And what a battle it was this trout took Mike into the backing not once but twice!!Jumping clean out of the water one time it was unbelievable!! As the fish was coming to the net I notice Mike playing with his reel and it appeared to be coming apart he got 2 more turns out of it which was enough to bring the brute home!! We spent another hour here going over the catch many times...After which we headed out to another spot that is night time user friendly and had a blast casting to risers till well after dark!!Was a great day on the water Mike and Joe Thank You!!
