I fished this beautiful piece of clear slow water on Tuesday. It was really my first attempt at fishing a true PA limestoner (don't count the little lehigh). Usually when I dry fly fish I travel up stream and cast over the trout and strip my line in as the current carries it back to me, so casting down stream (at least with dry flies) and the "line pile" casting method got pretty tricky! I had a few looks at my cress bug and hopper but no takes.

Anyway, I saw some beauts--the brookies in particular are just stunning. I also saw some really large rainbows. I'd like to go back one day...
