fished one of the lesser known spring creeks in the poconos this weekend and did pretty good much in part to the nice weather that hung around for most of the week. Fished small nymphs through the deeper riffles and through some streamers having luck with both. My dad and I both caught 3-4 the biggest being about 15" on a streamer. Saw some olives on the water but didnt see any fish rising until the last pool we fished. I was to tired from a long flight but my dad supposedly caught 5 when
I was sleeping in the car. May have been BSing me since I was busting his balls about my big fish of the day but I'm taking his word for it. Anyway it was a good trip home and fun fishing with my dad again, anyone else get out this week/weekend? |
