Fly Fishing Near Gore or Lake George

My parents live in the Lake George area and my girlfriend's parents have a house near there too. I live in Vermont and was wondering good rivers or streams to fly fish in that area. As a lttle kid growing up in Queensbury, I use to fish for brookies in Halfway brook.
