First Time Kinderhook Creek - New Lebanon & Renesselear Area

Going to give Kinderhook Creek in Columbia-Renessalear Counties a try this Friday. I am not all that far, just down the Taconic in Northern Dutchess. I never fished this creek before. So I am open to suggestions and advise.

I too would be curious as how tihs river fishes. I drive over it nearly 6 times a month heading west to Pulaski or north to Placid, and never stopped. I will next time.

There are a few spots that have been productive: Behind Lebanon Valley Speedway heading downstream. Also, the Malden Bridge section upstream from the bridge. LyNcH and I fish Malden Bridge as it is only 35 mins away. 7 1/2 ft rod is you're best bet, especially behind the raceway.
    Good Luck
