Newbie needs some help deciding on a setup

Hey Greg,

I would definetly recommend the SAGE FLI 9' 5 weight. I bought it 2-3 years ago when it was around $300 but you can definetly find it cheaper now that it's discontinued. It's a great rod for all the catskill rivers. My first rod was a TFO 9' 6 weight and it's really an awesome rod for the money. I use this mainly for nymphin.

I have been checking out some of the Sage and Orvis rods- seems like it's hard to go wrong with those brands. I am going to try to find a fly shop so I can try a few different rods.
