I hope Geneva,
NY.
Geneva is in the start of the lowlands and trout streams may be tough in July. Maybe buzz down 245 to the upper reaches of the Cohocton and its tribs around Atlanta? Keuka Outlet between Keuka Lake and Dresden on Seneca Lake is stocked. Usually a little warm in July, but this has been a cold year so who knows. Head west to the Mumford/Caledonia area for Spring and Oatka Creeks. These are a couple of limestone spring creeks that stay cool all summer. But in the summer you need to bring your A game because the fish can be spooky in low and clear water.
I would ask on the Sanders Fishing Guides - Central NYS - bulletin board. You will get a lot more local input.
Seneca Lake for perch etc from the shore/piers? If you can find someone with a boat the lake trout jigging should be good.
