I agree with you on that. In my experiences up there, you can get into pods of fish of roughly the same size indifferent runs or pools. Just depends on when you hit it and when/what they last stocked, etc. I like to catch big fish too but I just like to fish (and catch) more. Size isn't a critical factor to me, catching fish and having fun is. If I at least have a reasonable chance at hooking up with a few big fish on a trip that's all I need. I've met some great folks up there, including Simms on this year's trip. The comeraderie and laughs I get to share, along with the scenery and fishing, are the reasons I go up there year after year. And the damn fine food at the Wilderness Inn too!
