Was in Equinunk today visiting a friend and we were working in his barn and happened to look out over the river and what do you think I saw. It was a drift boat with no one in it floating down the river, equipt with rods and cooler.
As we watched the boat float by we looked up river and low and behold there was a fishermen with waders on running after the boat. The owner was about 150 yds behind it and running just as fast as he could, wasn't that fast. As we watched the boat go through he rapids we thought this poor guy would never get his boat but as luck would have it the boat floated in to the eddy at the cliffs in Equinunk and the man was able to fetch back his boat.
If your on the river enough you see some of the most unusual things. This was just plain hilarious, what a laugh, made my day.
