Tips for Bass on the Main Stem

I am a relatively inexperienced fly fisherman but recently purchased property on the Big D near Narrowsburg and am looking forward to fly fishing the river near me. Having just found this website, I am excited for the opportunity to pick your very knowledgeable brains for some insight. I assume I should be targeting smallies from June till late September and that I may be able to find browns and rainbows in the Spring and possibly again in October. I have never fished for bass on a fly, so I am looking for some guidance as to what weight rod and what lines, flies, bugs, etc. I should use.
