Report From SE Adirondacks
Rain fall here has been poor- rivers are warming up and trout growth is slow. Mortality seems to be pretty high due to the forementioned conditions. I haven't seen that virorous hatches of last year. The Schroon is tough fishing, fish are few and far between. The Ausable is fishing better but quiet dry as of today. The Battenkill was fishing well the last time I was there but that was 2 weeks ago. Flows have been better to the north and south of Lake George area.
I haven't posted in a while so I though I would contribue what I have experienced- still catching fish but it sure is dry. Hope conditions are better for the rest of you,
