Warwick is getting better

I was fishing in my native town of warwick, ny today. I wanted some brookie and rainbow action. I went to a few of my favorite secrete spots and caught some nice fish. Went to a place i call Meadow junction on 2 of my favorite local streams right where they meet and caught a nice 15inch or so rainbow. And right after a caught a brookie that was a little bigger. So i hiked up the mountain where it comes from and did some small stream brokie fishing. Caught bunches of 7-12 inch brookies. It was probably the best day i've had on my local streams ever. I was planning on going to the sink or the cats' but that got smashed down after i saw the gas prices. And i'm in college so it hits doubly as hard. So i decided to explore. I got a little cold and i busted my knee while rock hopping so i decided to call it quits. All fish were released to grow bigger and i might catch all those brokies that i caught in the small streams in to main stream again one day. Wilds are returning to my town in a vengence
