Mid-summer Fly fishing

Hi, I was wondring if anyone can help. For the last 10 years I get together with my brothers for a camping beeer drinking fly fishing extended weekend. We've been hitting Maine for the most part, and have hit the delaware once in that time. Now we're looking for a change of scenary and some good fishing in upstate NY maybe. Does anyone know of decent fishing in mid july time period upstate? Trout is preferable but good bass fishing is also fun. Maybe even a good stretch of river for some kayaking. Would appreciate any suggestions. Thanks.
