Hi Guys,
I have a chance to go up to the Salmon River on May 9th for some steelhead fishing. Question: is it too late to be going up there for steelies? I can't get up there any sooner and I was reading some info that said a lot of the guides switch over to fishing the lake rather then the river at that time and that most of the steelies/trout are already back out of the river. I was thinking of hiring a guide this time and don't want to waste $$ if there aren't any fish around. Any thoughts would help me decide.
Thanks!
FJD
PS I can get on a drift trip on the West Branch the same day, should I make the switch?? |
