I have been tying flies for about 5 years,.. By no means an expert or Novice,. i would say i'm between a novice and a beginner,.. as some one else wrote on the board once , my flies don't look like much, but they catch fish, i thought to myself, i fall in to that category,......... smile ,.........any way , i used the Dan vise today, for the first time, i can tell you in the past i had used a stationary standard vise, and tying on a rotating vise makes thing MUCH easier, and the flies look a whole lot nicer,.. know if i can just convince the fish , i'll have it all wrapped up,.. So if your out there tying on a standard stationary vise , INVEST,.. having the right tools when you do a job makes life allot easier..vince |
