Rivers on Eastern(ish) LI? Northern NJ? Near Queens.

I just got back from a week long trip to Kodiak, AK and am seriously fiending for some more fishing.

I live in Queens and am hoping that there are some decent rivers within an hour driving distance.

Does anyone know of some good rivers in Nassau county? Eastern Suffolk? Northern NJ?

Any help is appreciated.
