I managed to get out to WB and BKill today for the first time this season. Water still high and a bit off color. I did not really intend to fish WB but gave it a few casts with white zonkers, with no luck. Spotted few caddis and hendricksons I believe, but was not sure, could not get a hold off any.
Headed over to BKill, which was also high, but easier to wade; hooked up with nice rainbow on black stonefly nymph, long distance released. Little more bug activity visible in the afternoon, with hendricksons, small caddis and olives I think. No fish on them, only saw two raises in about 3hrs. Beautiful day to be out, almost no one outhere.
