Not Ranked : 0 Any way to increase CFO IV drag? I have several CFO IV fly reels that I've used for steelheading since the early 1980's. I currently palm the spool rim when a fish runs but I'm thinking that I'd like to increase the standard spring and click-pawl pressure to create more of a drag. I tried putting a shim under the spring but I'm not sure that is the way to go. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully interchanged parts from other reels or made new parts to accomplish what I'd like to do? Anyone out there know of any easily done modifications? |
