    Tungsten Bead Olive Biot Nymph

Here is a nymph that has been deadly this fall. I tie it in sizes 16-20.

Tie a few and let me know how you make out.

That's a nice fly. It's interesting the way you coat the line before you whip finish. I guess the glue holds the whip like applying it after. That would make a nice head on midges and no glue in the eye. Was that nail polish?

You guys should have seen the Vladi Worm! Get tying those damn things up! They kick a**! I will bump it up if you guys would like. We were behind with flies of the month so we made a bunch of them.

If you tie and fish this fly, it will become a staple in your nymph box!

That's because it is. Alot of times the simple patterns are the one's that catch the most fish.

Now that I've seen this, I'm think I bought some FBHE's and PT's that were tied with that peacock mylar. They have a jewel-tone look to the wing case, which I believe is covered with clear head cement or polish. Super super flashy!

    Biot,

You nailed it right on the head. I can tie a fly that would do the same think, but why do that? Yes it might look better to us. However, with all that being said, its what matters to the fish that counts. I did one more video of a friends "improved hares ear" that I will put up soon.

John, how do you guys keep up with the videos? We always fall behind, the we do 3 or 4 real quick and get back up to date!

Make some of there, I say again! They "get them good!"

Yummy! That is one good looking bug that is sure to get the trout fired up.

The solution to any problem-work, love, money, whatever- is to go fishing. J Gierach
