Not Ranked : 0 Rod repairs..... I have an old berkley fly rod....my Dads old rod, at some point a long time ago the reel seat got dented(it is gold metal)....I would like to retire the rod even though I really love the action.. But it is old and I'd really hate to have it break fighting a fish or worse....Anyway the question is can I replace the reel seat only? If anyone knows of a repair/rod builder who could do this kind of work please advise.....I would try it myself but the fear of ruining the rod has got me thinking...Thanx guys |
