I'm from PA and am headed up to Vermont to visit my girlfriend's family during the 1st week of August. I'm relatively new to fly fishing and wanted to give it a shot while I was up there. I'll be in the Brattleboro area, and was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction about where and what flies to use that time of the year. I only catch and release and I'm not looking for anyone to give any particular spot away or anything. I believe the West River is there. How is that for fly fishing? Any help is greatly appreciated.
