backpacking and fly fishing

Hi all, i'm currently in the process of section hiking the VT Long Trail and i just picked up fly fishing this year. don't know if i'll be packing fishing gear on my LT trips but i just wanted to see if anyone else does any combo backpacking/fly fishing trips in VT or anywhere else in NE
