With the very cold weather of the last few days, not to mention the winds, today felt pretty good. After picking up my wife from work she suggested we take a walk along a favorite stream, I of course took along the fly rod. The trout were very accomadating taking the BHPT. The takes were slow with the water temps in the high 30's.
The stream was beautiful with some ice starting to form on the logs.
This little nursery stream was in good shape and a sight to behold.
Although there were a lot of misses and LDR's a few wild jewels came in to have there pictures taken and returned to there cold stream.
And when my wife and I returned home the grill was fired up and we dined on grilled short ribs of beef, baked potato, carmalized onions, field green salad, and a fine iced tea.
Truely a wonderful November day.
