I took my wife to work this morning for 5 am and decieded to fish a Class 1 WTMA. for a few hours before picking her up at 11. As I drove down the road to the stream the deer were every where, they continued to feed as if I wasn't there. As I walked to the stream I thought this was going to be a good day. The water was beautiful. For 3 hours I fished with many trout rising to the fly but not one hookup. Finally a nice brown took the fly and was ready for a pic when he shook the fly. It was a while before a brookie hit, practically jumping over a log to get the meal.
Some of the benefits to our passion, with out even making a cast.

And for supper Jeanette and I dined on some fresh ricotta and spinach tortoloni, with a freah native tomato sauce, with grilled Italian chicken sausage, with a beverage of choice. A special day indeed.
