I fished a wild trout stream this morninig. Started at 4am. We have not had much rain around here for a while and the stream was low and clear, stream temps 60 degrees. Its peaceful out there with only the sound of the stream and an occasional other sound not known. Started fishing the runs and riffles with a dry of my making, big and brushy. The browns whacked that fly with recklessness. I fishe till 8 or so. This is my favorite wild trout stream. Every fish a gem.
