| Wild Browns Being Wild w/pics I fished one of CT's Class 1 WTMA's this morn, the stream was low and clear, still dark as I began creeping around the bank. I started fishing a streamer, which I stayed with for the few hours I fished. The first cast along a riffle produced a good hit but no hookup. The second area there was a undercut bank and the fly was cast to the bank and when the drift stoped the brown hit and was hooked. As I retrieved the fish I felt a bit more weight, when they got close I noticed a larger brown hit the trout I had hooked. The small guy was in the grasp of the other and he would not let go I was able to snap two photos of this before he let go. I released the othe and he swam to shore somewhat stunned, with a little prodding he swam off. Quite a few fish hooked but only a few to hand. Hope you enjoy the pics. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
