| Winter Fishing I have been out several times this year fishing small streams in the Colchester area. I have caught many wild browns and brookies, mostly in the 5 to 8 inch range. Most of the fish were taken on streamers, Edson Tigers, Mickey Finns, Black Nosed Dace, and nymphs bead head Zug Bugs, goldribbed Hares ears. The water levels are just right, although I have not taken any stream temps. This is a good time to be out on the streams not much vegetation, and no angler pressure, and lots of solitude. |
