will be traveling up to South Casco, Maine with the family in last week in August. staying at point sebago resort on the lake and plan on fishing every day before the tribe even wakes up. will bring all my gear,(flyrods, waders, etc.) Can anyone give me any direction, ie., stay and fish on the lake every day or possibly travel out to a river or creek close by?(any recomendations would be appreciated, not looking for anyones special spot, just a chance to fish in another state and enjoy nature) ...figure water will be low and possibly warm so dont want to target trout if it'll harm them but would be more than happy to catch a bunch of smallies! can i fish a lake the size of sebago with a flyrod? will everything be too deep at that time of year? not sure what temps and or water levels will be like up there...first trip up that far north...thanks in advance for any info |
