My wife and I are headed to Ireland in early June, and she is returning a few days before me. I hope to spend those days fly fishing - either for salmon or trout. I will have a rental car the entire time, so I can get most places.

Anyone have any advice, particularly on where to fish/what flies to bring/etc? I may hire a guide for a day if I can afford it, and am open to recommendations if anyone has had a good experience in the past.
