right here in the hopwell valley! a few bluebirds were searching around the woods outside of my home/office a couple weeks back for several days in a row. i have been away, but before i left i hadn't seen them for about a week. i think they might have chosen to nest elsewhere. i live down the road from a x-mas tree farm and when we were there in december we saw dozens of them perched atop the trees on the farm. very cool. just came back from wild trout fishing in shenandoah national park and saw a kingfisher there on the rapidan river.
