| Saturday - June 25th 2005 Ste-Marguerite River Saguenay (Quebec) I wake up at 04h10 and start making coffee. Vince crawls out 2 minutes later and says he's hungry. (Kraft macaroni 'n cheese). Getting the gang ready takes a while and we have a nice breakfast , clean up and move up to the parking lot on 49. Michel (Renée's brother) is exstatic!. Man, ... it's nice to see someone relaxed and excited at the same time. A few tips and he's ready to go: The water is 48 degrees but the air is warming up fast. We try 49 a while, get EATEN by mosquitoes walking up through 48 and move into the 47. Boris is trying for the same salmon from his canoe. Coming out of the pool, ... what a nice sight, ... the family waiting (along with Tommy N a friend of Vince's) Man, ... it is getting hot ... We leave for camp for some breakfast (again) and to plan strategy. We'll also be meeting with 2 more friends Martin and Martine from Baie Comeau). M&M meet us at camp and we relax a while, naps for Renée in the warden's camp (cooler). We take a little run down to Sacré-Coeur for ice cream. Back up to Glass pool (from the far side). As we're exploring a while, ... Boris finally moves the nice hen that's been showing interest all day. A few minutes rest and BANG, ... nice connection. As the young client had been there all day previous, Boris quickly hands his rod off to her and the battle ensues. After a 15 minute fight, the release is history. A nice quite evening, ... mega Fondue supper and bed at 9 o'clock. The water levels were perfect on the weekend, ... Too bad there weren't a lot of salmon. Oh well, ... Met some nice friends, ... and I'm sure Michel will be back.
