Not Ranked : 0 Update on customer service As some of you may have read I broke my spey rod on my last trip to the Salmon River. Up until 2005 I had not broken any of my fly rods so I guess I was past due and in 2006 and I managed to break two rods and deal with three rod manufactures with regards to repairs.
The first rod I broke was a 4wt while fishing the quat. I will not name the manufacture of the broken rod and will refer to them as brand W. It was frustrating to say the least dealing with W customer service . By the time I was finished with W I was confused as to what service they provided me. As loyal customer I was frustrated to say the least they were unable to answer any of my basic questions. They were rude cold and what I consider a disgruntled employee. I think most people if put in my situation would have agreed that they were less then helpful.
So I prepared myself for the worst when dealing with Temple Fork in regards tp my spey rod. Well boy was I pleasantly surprised today when I called them. Of the three dealing I have had with repair departments in the past year this by far was the most pleasant. They informed me that they had received my rod today. They then informed me that I should expect the repair or replaced rod by THIS Friday. Aside from answering all of my question some before I even asked them they were polite pleasant yet professional.
It was a bizarre experience after my dealings with company W. So if anyone was is interested in purchasing a TFO have faith my friend that they will take care of you. |
