You might want to break-out your telescope to determine a lie, your eyes and intuition might be failing you.

When a person charges someone with lying they take on the responsibility of identifying the lie - otherwise its a tactic of propaganda. I'm sure you remember what the famous Nazi, Joseph Goebbels, had to say about a lie:

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”

So, which of my comments do you see as a lie? The info taken from the Bear Activity Report? This is provided by the DEP. I'd be very interested in knowing any falsehood perpetrated by the DEP. Please clarify the lie - I will notify the DEP of any wrong or malicious information and update this thread with a correction.

Also, to my knowledge, the DFW is responsible for freshwater fishing and strippers. The facts and figures discussed on the radio program about the DFW were provided by Resource Management, a national outdoor survey company. Part of the information discussed was NJ's support of fishing (87%.) Also discussed was support for the job DFW is doing (82%.) Are you claiming lies were advanced by Reasearch management? If so, please offer the evidence so that I can correct the post.

Finally, conservation is at the foundation (as is recreation) of our privilege to fish (and hunt) in NJ. Is there a lie associated with this? Again, I will make corrections.

Mr. Goebbels made a chilling statement about the power of lies. I'm sure that you are also willing to publicly correct your claim of a lie if you can't substantiate it - right?

So, either way I look forward to your response. Either I will have the chance to correct the info I posted or you will have the chance to do likewise.

BTW - the title and sub-titile of this area of the forum is "Educate" and "Government and Fishing." Seems like an appropriate spot for my thread (The DFW is part of our "Government" and support for "Fishing" was a topic discussed on the program.
