I was one for two. Both browns. The one I lost was a real nice one. It was a great day to be out and not many people on the water. The fish were biting but werent fully committing to strike.

That's because it's winter..............winter fishing is slow, I only do it once in a blue moon because I want to get out from the house.
But don't expect to catch a lot with the water below 40f.

Agreed. Takes will be subtle at best and you won't get a lot even if the bottom is paved with fish. But any day on the water is a good day!
