| NJ Does know about Tailwaters! The following article was in Sunday's Star Ledger. The part of the Pequonnock River discussed is a small tailwater that holds wild trout, I've caught only browns there when I use to fish it regularly until about five years ago. I'm posting this so the DRF and FUDR folks can maybe use this as a reference when the issue of why should NJ officals care about TEMPERATURE based releases into the Delaware system. The state clearly knows the they want the Pequannock temps to not exceed 68 degrees and are preparred to force, by regulation, cold water release regulations on the City of Newark. Interesting, anyone else agree? Michael M. http://www.nj.com/search/index.ssf?/...starledger?nwr |
