I'm Banned Too

There are a lot of good people on this board. To have a differance of opinion and maybe a little disagreement is a healthy thing. Also people will take sides. This too is a good thing. Banning people because of different views on topics or subjects it totaly wrong. This board started out about fishing and places to fish or go fish and fly swaps and helping one another. Clubs and organizations are great things. When two clubs have diffrence in opinions or beliefs, debate and peacable argument is called for. Sometimes it does get a little carried away. So we band the people who are passionate and caring weather they are right or wrong. The problem here is we should have band the topic first and seen what the outcome would have been. I will not mention names or list the main topic that spawned a few bannings. Due to the recent bannings left me in vascilations as to leave or wait and see what comes about. Guys it's fishing season and not fighting season. Yes I know there are a few conservation issues going on. But how do you expect to win a victory when the house starts to fight amungst itself and starts to divide. All that needs to be done is for both sides to sit down and listen to each other and let common sence rule. The trouble I see is that thier are to many emotions attached that clouds seeing the big picture. Enough said. I know some of you will be glad I am gone and I know some will not. To me I will go tye my wet flies and fish and continue to support TU the Catskill Fly Fishing Museum and proudly be a member of the Guild.Have a good summer and may be the prodical son will return home again.
