So how was opening day?

I fished the Pequannock with not much luck. Black stone flies, pheasant tail nymphs and a few wooley buggers but no luck yet. The only problem I encountered was the abundance of spincasters leaving their shit everywhere. cigarette butts, beer cans, spools of line, worm containers...This is not cool. How would someone go about getting a stretch fly fishing only? Fly fisherman, seem to actually care about the river.
