Welcome but don't get offended if you say or ask something and someone jumps all over your butt, take it with a grain of salt. Some guys around here forget they were once new to fly fishing. With that said, I think guys need to lighten up a little and explain things rather than make someone feel like an ass. I got into fly fishing because someone explained to me why I should not be fishing with worms in a Catskill brook trout stream. It made sense to me
and I embraced it. He could have just called me an asshole and I would most likely just flipped him the one finger salute and continued with worms or tossed a metal lure his way to piss him off. I have fly fished ever since.
