I know this is a topic probably often thought of but rarely mentioned. The posted land along our streams and how the designation came about has me wonderring at times-WHY? You can look in all directions and see nothing but woods or fields and come upon the infamous POSTED sign on a streamside tree. Is this land owned by some long lost developer, a former generation of a family tat has since moved on, or just a plain old snob bent on depriving others because he has h.....on for whatever reason? Are any of these lands tied in any legal battles that have been put on the backburner or parts of political tug of wars? All I know is there is a lot of beautiful land and water in
NJ that can't be touched by fisherman. Aren't fishermen in general and FLY fisherman in specific a polite and curteous lot?
