| Rising Fish Had to stop at the accountant yesterday to take care of Mr Taxman and since it's near my favorite local hole, I thought I'd stop by and see what was happening. Should have had my rod with me. There were at least 8-10 nice browns rising regularly and it was a pleasure to just sit and watch them for 10 or 15 minutes. I couldn't see what they were rising to, so I'm guessing it was either something in the film or possibly midges. I didn't want to get to close for fear of putting down the whole pool. Going back today with the rod...hopefully the weather will hold up for a while. Heard it's supposed to be windy... Spring is on its way. NJ streams shut down tomorrow until opening day except for the TCAs and wild streams.  |
